Administrative Coordinator

Our client, a large non-profit company, is looking for an Administrative Coordinator. This person will be responsible for assisting in the planning and organizing of charity events by arranging for space, equipment, and refreshments.
On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for booking and scheduling large charity events. This person will be scheduling with hotels, banquette halls, and vendors. This person will also be in charge of creating invitations and news letters for the events. Ideally this person will have experience planning events and meetings of 200+ people plus.
To be qualified for this position, individuals should have administrative or support experience in an office setting. Individuals will also have to have Desktop Publisher, MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point skills that are intermediate. Event planning experience is a plus!
