My Grandfather's Pewter/Nickle Compass, No crystal - $20

This was my grandfather’s compass. The compass is in excellent shape except it’s missing the original crystal that holds the arrow down.
But, if you place the arrow carefully down, it seems to point in right direction?
The compass is pewter with a nickel finish, and was probably made in Berlin, Germany.
$20 cash.
