Processing Associate

Fortune 500 Company in Valley Forge, PA

Work Schedule (compressed – schedule rotates between week 1 and 2)

Week 1

M 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM

T 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

W 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

TH 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM



Week 2

M 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Th 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM

F 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM

S 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM



Work Environment

Professional, Office environment



Position Summary

Processes both monetary and clerical shareholder requests on client accounts.



Specific Responsibilities

Processes monetary check sort and transactions to include, but not be limited to, New Accounts, Additional Purchases, Post Proceeds and basic correspondence through internal systems. Reviews transactions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all internal and external regulations. Ensures timely completion of all client requests with minimal client impact errors.



Processes clerical transactions to include, but not be limited to, maintenance, fund express/options, address changes, beneficiaries and basic correspondence. Reviews transactions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all internal and external regulations. Ensures timely completion of all client requests with minimal rework.



Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of departmental systems and processing functions. Attends all scheduled training to gain proficiency in processing client requests. In addition completes all scheduled e-learning courses that provide additional knowledge of company and industry policies.



Other duties as assigned (i.e., assisting other business units as deemed necessary due to high volumes)



Knowledge/Skills

Undergraduate degree preferred. High school degree or GED acceptable. Previous business experience preferred. Recommended skills include working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PCs; ability and willingness to effectively work within a team environment; demonstrated ability to work in a high volume situation with time constraints; demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; strong problem resolution and time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.



Measure of Performance

Productivity & Quality within departmental standards, Minimal client impact errors.

Training Program

8:30am-5:00pm, M-F for 2-4 weeks.
