We have an immediate opening for a Proposal Writer/Office Administrator for our client in the manufacturing industry.



Position requirements:



• Military, engineering or scientific background

• Writing reports and proposals

• Strong organizational skills

• Editing documents

• Collecting and distributing information

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and engineers alike

• General Administrative Tasks such as answering phones, filing documents and

mailing and faxing information



Skills needed:



• Microsoft Office (EXCEL, PowerPoint, and WORD)

• Highly organized - ability to bring order to chaos

• Strong verbal and written communication skills



Desired Skills/Experience:



• Writing experience

• Product launch experience

• Web page maintenance capacity

• Graphic design skills

• Scientific or engineering training



Breakdown of Responsibilities:



Format technical reports (20%)

Edit and mature presentations (20%)

Manage the office (10%)

Coordinate vendors, authors, scientists, engineers in making written proposals (5%)

Schedule activities of President, sales effort, and customer visits (5%)

Research and help edit Business Plan (10%)

Submit proposals (20%)

Learn new skills (10%)
