We are a loving family seeking an “older sibling”/babysitter for regular weekday afternoon childcare, plus one weekday evening per week and one Saturday night per month. Expect to work approximately 25 – 30 hours per week, usually between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00 pm. We have 2 school aged children who start 1st and 2nd grades this fall, and a 9-month-old puppy. The children will need to be picked up from school at 3:20pm. When they get home it's a healthy snack, homework, planned activities or play dates. We live across the street from a playground. Other tasks include: taking the dog out, tidying up after the children, light laundry, light meal preparation of simple healthy family dinners (3 - 4 x per week), and running occasional errands. We have a housecleaner who handles heavy cleaning. Some days will be more hectic than others, but it really depends on your style and level of organization.
