Title: Technical Analyst

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Reports to: Outsourcing Team Manager



POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Outsourcing team, the Technical Analyst has complete ownership of technical tasks for several clients. This includes working with clients and carriers to develop functional specifications, system set-up as well as developing comprehensive test plans. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and coaching other team members as well as leading training classes for the department.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently communicate with clients and carriers to gather business requirements, develop functional design specifications and complete system set-up of clients

• Assist in managing technical projects for client implementations, renewals and ongoing administration

• Perform computer operations (such as report generation and data transmissions) accurately and on-time

• Develop and execute test plans

• Test and quality review software and data

• Develop, generate and quality review standard and ad-hoc reports

• Assist with development and documentation of best practices

• Actively participate and lead meetings with clients, carriers and other internal departments

• Mentor, coach and train other team members

• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math or other related field experience preferred

• Technical analytical work experience required

• Strong analytical skills

• Logical problem solver with excellent follow through and detail orientation skills

• Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong working knowledge of Excel

• Strong working knowledge Microsoft Access and/or SQL

• Must be able to work overtime during peak periods
