NPower PA, a nonprofit technology consulting company that provides technology assistance to Philadelphia area nonprofit community, is looking for the right person to add to our dynamic staff.
Requirements:
Strong Systems Analyst skills, including conducting business needs requirements for software systems, writing functional requirements documents, use cases, and RFPs.
Research and investigation of relevant technology solutions to meet the business needs and budget of the client
Must have a passion for non profits. Understand non profit business flow including fundraising, client/case management, volunteer and program tracking.
Must be detail oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical skills:
Database – knowledge of database technologies including MS Access (97, 2000, XP, 2003), VB, SQL
Web – knowledge of Internet technologies including hosted applications using ASP.Net, MySQL, Oracle
Duties:
System Analysis
Work with the customer to identify their key business processes and select the software solution to meet these needs. This will involve requirements analysis through staff and key stakeholder interviews, and analyzing existing work flow and systems.
Prepare Functional Requirements documents based on needs analysis. Prepare and distribute Request For Proposals (RFPs) to relevant vendors. Investigate relevant technology solutions to meet the client needs.
Analyze all proposals and prepare recommendations for the client. Assist the client to further analyze recommended solutions through vendor demos and negotiations in order to procure the best solution.
System Implementation
Work with the client to plan and schedule the implementation of the solution. Work with the solution vendor to gather, transfer and import current data into the new system.
Deploy and customize the system according to client requirements. Schedule and deliver training to end users. Work with the client to generate custom reports.
Develop and maintain exceptional knowledge of all ETO Software™ functions and features.
Provide such follow-up services and documentation as may be required to successfully transition a client into an effective Customer Support relationship.
Follow up with the client to analyze the effectiveness of the solution through workflow analysis.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified with solid database/business analysis experience with relevant technical skills. The candidate should have good inter-personal skills with previous experience in a customer facing environment. Understanding of organizational dynamics is a plus.
