Randstad Inhouse Services is recruiting for several technical writing positions at our

Job Description:

Works with Technical Documentation Developer Lead to document necessary policies, procedures, process maps and technical documentation in accordance with priorities established in the business documentation plan. Develops internal department-level procedures, provides structured guidelines for crew to follow when developing business and technical documentation.



Works proactively with financial subject matter experts to ensure that all policies and procedures are kept current and identifies opportunities for improving or expanding existing documentation by soliciting feedback from appropriate crew members.



Proofreads all documents that are submitted for review and approval by the impacted business area.



Follows procedure, and process mapping documentation standards including writing/design/style guides, and templates.



Communicates closely with Technical Documentation Developer on existing policy and procedure efforts and obtains feedback on associated deliverables. Maintains communication schedule and ensures all updates are entered accurately within the documented turnaround time.



Ability to watch and translate from peer review.





Knowledge/Skills/Experience:



Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Two to three years of experience developing and/or writing policies and procedures in either a financial or business environment. Experience writing Defined Benefit administration procedures preferred.

Proven ability to write clear and concise policies/procedures (samples may be required).

Strong grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills.

Good PC skills, particularly with Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Lotus Notes.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
