Healthy, Paid Volunteers Needed

We are seeking paid volunteers for a study examining the effects of nicotine on inflammation. You will be reimbursed up to $950 for your participation. You may qualify if you are:

- Non-smoking
- Male or female
- Age 18-45
- No chronic illnesses

Study involves 2 outpatient visits and 2 inpatient stays at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, each of 2 nights and 3 days. Blood will be drawn during each visit. Study also requires taking four doses of FDA-approved medication during each inpatient visit or taking a placebo (fake pill).
