this is by far the worst experience i have ever had at a post office. i waited in line for 15 minutes when there were barely any people in line because the workers there move like snails to get things done. When it was finally my turn, the employee was being nasty and very condescending to me. She must have some issues with her personal life but that shouldn't mean she should bring that with her to work while working with the public. She absolutely does not appreciate her job. i walked into this post office having a great day, but when i left i was angry and my mood completely changed.
Absolute worst post office in the world. For over 15 years I have been tortured by the complete lack of work ethic and more, just basic human kindness from the people that work here. The culture of apathy at this office is horrendous. I am so sick of having one purposely slow cashier behind the window as I listen to 4 workers chat in the background.
The facility is disgusting, the access is ridiculous and the location is just plain stupid. Do I have to give them 1 star? CLOSE THIS PLACE!
Every time I have to deal with this Post Office, I am beyond frustrated. Items were shipped from CA and were to arrive to my home residence and I waited and waited. No one rang my bell, no one posted a notice. It seems that they arrived 4 weeks ago at this processing center and they decided to scan them as a pick up and not to be delivered. I then called and they informed me that they have a package and I need to call the main 1800 number to arrange delivery. I called the 1800 number and they told me that it could not be delivered because they scanned it as a pick up and I have no choice but to pick it up. That they could not help me and that I need to call Southwark again. Oh and the second package they stated "we don't know where it is", we will look into it. I then tried calling Southwark again and no one picked up the phone for 2 hrs....so I went to pick them up. Luckily the second time they looked they found both packages. I guess they forgot to scan one of them, when it arrived in. I am trying to run a buisness and this is extremely frustrating when you can not rely on the local post office and you waste your time running around getting the wrong information.
Absolutely the worst post office in the universe. Can't follow simple instructions like "leave package over side fence" so then you have to wait for at least an hour to get the package. No other deliver service I deal with has a problem with following this simple instruction.
Worst post office in existence; when they have a package they don't ring your bell or knock to see if you are home. When you call the number of the form 215 462-3136 the number is disconnected; when you go there, long lines and no one cares that people are waiting while one person works and three sit and do nothing except chat to friends or among themselves. Never respond to consumer complaints
I would rather visit the dentist than spend any more time at this post office. On Wednesday they lost the third consecutive package they were holding for me. As of today (Friday) they've yet to contact me about it.
Usually long lines. Clerks that chat with locals while the lines are backing up. Lost packages. Avoid it if you can.
